That time again 🛩 ☁️ 

Truly grateful for the last few weeks & being able to catch up with clients, friends & family. ❤️ 

It's funny that if you asked me my daily routine I'd be able to tell you nearly to the minute. 

But when it comes to big life decisions like where to live its usually a toss of a coin 🤣 

I woke up one morning nearly 8 years ago now with the words 'life is too short' repeatedly running them rough my head. 

Ever since then that's how I've tried to live. 

The journey continues 🎢

Why gaining phases are NOT for most people... 

- Most people are prone to gaining weight, not losing it. 

- They naturally underestimate their calories and overestimate expenditure. 

- Training intensity, accuracy & programming needs to be improved if they want to gain muscle. 

Without improving it, the ratio of muscle to fain gain is often not worth the ROI. 

- As a maintenance phase goes on most people will move into a surplus by default due to increased flexibility in the diet and decreased accuraccy. 

Maintenance is also very difficult for a lot of people. 

- Holidays and certain times of the year (e.g. Christmas) will account for a lot of people's weight gain throughout a year. 

Throw a gaining phase on top & it's even more fat that has to come off and a longer time spent dieting. 

There's more but that's the main points off the top of my head. 

There's 2 main caveats here 

1) If you really struggle to put on weight 
2) If you live a bodybuilder lifestyle & just eat/sleep/train 

Keep in mind the above is an extremely small % of the population.

This is why for most our clients we will use
what you might call 'gaintenance' phases and performance phases. (Or whatever you want to call them lol) 

It allows them to also develop the long term habits & skills to be able to control their body composition with as little effort as possible.
