Ingredients
- 6 crumpets
- 2 eggs
- 20 g of flavoured whey protein
- 30 mls of skimmed milk
- 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla essence
Instructions
- In a bowl, whisk the eggs, vanilla essence, milk and protein powder until smooth.
- Add each crumpet to the mixture and allow soak (flip them over to coat the whole crumpet with the egg mixture).
- Heat a pan on a medium heat and spray well with 1kcal spray.
- Add the crumpets to the pan and cook for 2-3 minutes until crispy (2-3 at a time depending on size of your pan).
- Flip over and cook for another 1-2 minutes and repeat with remaining crumpets.
- Serve with whatever toppings you like.
