Garlic Prawn Stir Fry

Stir Fry Ingredients

  • 300 g raw prawns fresh or defrosted
  • 2 cloves of grated garlic
  • 1 diced pepper approx. 150g
  • 8 sliced cherry tomatoes
  • 50 g diced onion
  • Salt & pepper
  • 1 kcal spray

Sauce Ingredients

  • 10 g of cornflour
  • 1/4 of a teaspoon of chili flakes
  • 15 g of honey
  • 30 mls of soy sauce
  • 10 mls of sesame oil if you don't have it, you can leave it out


  • Heat a wok on medium heat.
  • Spray well with 1 kcal spray.
  • Add the pepper, garlic and onion and stir fry for 2-3 minutes.
  • Meanwhile, mix the cornflour in a cup with a tablespoon of water to form a smooth paste.
  • Add the rest of the sauce ingredients to the paste and mix well.
  • Add the prawns and cherry tomatoes to the wok and pour in the sauce.
  • Cook for another 2-3 minutes to allow the sauce to thicken and season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Serve with side of choice e.g. rice/noodles/extra veg. Pictured here with rice and asparagus.
