Spicy Butter Garlic Prawns

Ingredients

  • 300 g prawns fresh or defrosted
  • 30 g of light butter
  • 1 sliced chili
  • 2-3 cloves of grated garlic/garlic puree
  • 1 tablespoon of cajun seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon of cayenne pepper
  • Juice of half a lemon
  • Salt & pepper

Instructions

  • Heat a pan on medium heat and add the butter, chili and garlic.
  • Sauté for 1 minute.
  • Add the cajun seasoning and cayenne pepper, and sauté for another minute.
  • Add the prawns and sauté for about 4-5 minutes.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Squeeze in the lemon juice and sauté for a final minute.
  • Serve with pasta/spaghetti, rice, noodles etc - it's very versatile.
